A baby cardigan worked in one-piece top-down with simple raglan shaping.

The knitting is worked flat, with a decorative eyelet increase pattern to create the raglan line. The neckline is lowered with short rows at the neck for a better fit. The button bands are worked in one piece with the cardigan and the buttonholes start below the rib at the neck (to avoid buttons at the chin).
After working the raglan increases, the stitches from the sleeves and body are divided and work is continued, and an eyelet pattern completes the body. Afterward, the sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round to the cuff.

The pattern is suitable for a large range of fingering weight yarns. You could choose a yarn with linen or wool content, or a natural woolen yarn would be very suitable, too.
