This is the pattern for my doll Oliver. It’s a fun amigurumi doll pattern for improving beginners to seasoned crocheters!

Oliver just moved from the city to a small village, together with his parents and his little sister Ophelia. He’s very excited about the move, because he heard the woods behind their new home are actually an enchanted forest.
I’m sure he will make a cute addition to your Amigurumi collection.

You can find the patterns for his little sister Ophelia and his friend Meja in my Ravelry shop.

This downloadable pdf pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions that are accompanied by high quality photos of the process.
The doll is crocheted from top to bottom and the pattern includes instructions on how to embed a wire frame in your doll. However this is optional.

The listing includes a pdf with photo tutorials (in US and UK terms) on how to make a magic ring, invisible decreases in single crochet, color changes in single crochet, and invisible finishes.

Materials and tools you need for Oliver:

  • Cotton yarn in a DK / light worsted weight in different colors
  • 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
  • 7mm safety eyes
  • Fiberfill
  • Stitch markers
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Craft wire (at least 1mm diameter)
  • PVC tape (optional)
  • Blush and eye shadow applicator (optional)

If using the recommended yarn weight and hook size your crochet doll will be about 17cm / 6.7” tall including his cap.
