Pattern Notes
The Sweater is worked from the top down. Begin with the neckline in 1x1 rib. Fold the neckline and continue in Half Fisherman’s Rib with raglan increases until work is divided at underarm. The sweater does not have short rows at neckline, but the back of the yoke is worked longer to create a higher neckline at back. The stitches for sleeves are placed on hold until the body is worked to desired length and finished with a 1x1 rib. The sleeves are worked one at a time. The stitches on hold are placed on working needles and Half Fisherman’s Rib with decreases is worked until desired length after finishing with a cuff in 1x1 rib.

The sweater is worked so that it is possible to wear it with either side out. It is important to pick up stitches at underarm very carefully to create a nice finish at each side of the fabric. If you work stripes, it is advisable to either cut the yarn after each stripe or choose which side is supposed to be the “right side” and not work the sweater to be worn with either side out.

The “bumpy” side is the right side when working this sweater.
