Stockinette stitch transitions gracefully into a pretty lace pattern in this quick and easy triangular shawl. Worked top down in three colors of fingering weight wool, Oliveta makes an ideal first shawl project—but it’s interesting enough to hold the attention of experienced knitters, too.

Instructions are provided for special techniques, such as the garter stitch tab cast-on and a stretchy lace bind-off designed to enhance the lace edge’s scallops. The lace pattern is provided in charts.
