I love trees and forests. Living abroad is a never-ending source of fascination. I am still not totally used to this nature and its characteristics. Every year, every season surprisesme with new things.
Around the house we have several kinds of trees and bushes, some of them are familiar to me, some not. One of those not so familiar trees is the elm tree. When I feel the first signs of spring in the air, the elm tree is one of the first ones to bloom.

Olmo cowl is inspired by these lovely, tiny flowers. The upper
part of the cowl is worked flat. Later the piece is joined in the round while the increases continue. DK-weight yarn knits up quickly and keeps you warm.
