My new summer go-to garment! This poncho is perfect worn at the beach over a swimsuit or over a tank and cut-offs on the street. The weight of the yarn helps it drape beautifully, and while the cotton and loose-crochet aspects of it keep it nice and breezy for warm weather, it’s also just great as an extra layer to cover your shoulders for nights out to dinner and a movie.

This is an easy+/intermediate level crochet pattern and the techniques involved are double crochet, granny clusters, front post double crochet, and working in the round.
