These were inspired by a lovely Old Man Sweater that I saw an actor wearing and I immediately pictured these socks!

These socks feature a cable chart that is repeated throughout and carries down the back all the way to the bottom of the heel, the entire sole is knit so as to not be uncomfortable. They are worked from the top down with a fleegle heel and have a ribbed cuff and toe.

Despite the fancy looks they are very simple and use about 300-350 yards of fingering weight yarn, about 50 yards of that is the cuff/toe if you want to make them out of a contrasting color as shown.
