On a Slant is my adventure into asymmetrical shawl construction.

It’s a perfect pattern to use up stash. My favorite striped slipped stitch pattern is reversible is used to form the body of the shawl until your desired top edge is achieved.

Then you can choose from two lace knit on edging options with or without beads. This unfortunately is not reversible but doesn’t look horrible on the WS.

Charts only. If I can ever get someone to write up the row by row instructions for me, I’ll put them in. Meanwhile I just can’t slow down my creativity to do it, sorry.

It’s time for a free pattern! If you need advice or help, please don’t hesitate to ask me, 53Chevy.
