This little poncho provides just enough coverage to warm the shoulders and give a bit of “dress up” to a casual summer outfit.
It is easily adjustable In size by adding more repeats or stitches.
I used almost all of my 730 yds (667.5 m) of this lovely summer yarn with just enough for a decent sized gauge swatch. More yarn will be required to make it larger.
There are other options for a sport weight yarn. Anzula Vera yarn is light as a feather due to the silk/linen mix which makes it great for summer. I wore it to appointments on a hot and humid day and felt very comfortable because of the fiber content.
This knit provides some interest with the addition of intentional selvedge stitches that border both sides of the pattern. A fun applied I-cord trims the two short edges
