Materials 
462—yards of DK weight yarn. 
For the Solid Version- We used Cape May Fiber Co DK Merino (100% Superwash Merino, 231 yards/100 Gram) in color: 
Natural Avocado (pinkish beige)
For the Striped Version- We used Cape May Fiber Co Marine Silk (51% Cultivated Silk, 29% Superfine Merino, 20% SeaCell®, 328 yards / 100 Gram): 
1 skein of Nudibranch (lime green with orange and brown speckles) 
1 skein of Sea Salt (cool blue with purple green and blue speckles)
- US Size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook
 - tapestry needle
 - scissors
 - a book or cardboard that is between 6” to 6 ½” long
 
Gauge 
14 dc, 8 rows = 4” after blocking. Save time, check your gauge.
