The 8th of August 2025 marks the 1st birthday for Life in Loops, and I thought that this would be the perfect time to release our first free pattern.

I was picking up some cotton from our supplier earlier this month and was encouraged to try a new merino & bamboo blend.

Let me tell you this yarn is so soft and amazing, and I hope that I can come up with some ways that we can use it more in the future.

I dyed the first 8 ply skein and then thought – what am I going to do with one ball? I know this is a common problem when we have one ball left over from a project, or we buy a skein because it is just to pretty to leave in the store.

I love infinity scarves for their simplicity.

They make great quick gifts. I make them quite a lot for charities or donations when the village where my mum and dad live are raising money for charities.

They are always well received, especially in the cooler months.
