One Cloudy Night
Settle into your favorite show, claim the passenger seat, or steal a quiet moment with One Cloudy Night—an easy garter stitch shawl knitting pattern made for wonderfully relaxing knitting.
Inspired by a summer sky filled with glowing coral and billowing gray clouds, this three-color shawl pairs sweeping shapes with soft, squishy texture. The modular construction gives you a new section to look forward to, while soothing garter stitch lets you enjoy the journey, one comfortable row at a time.
It’s the project you’ll reach for when you want to keep your hands happily occupied without asking too much of your brain. A few episodes, a few more miles, another cup of tea… and those simple stitches become something beautiful.
Choose DK or fingering-weight yarn and three colors you love. Then settle in for a generous, enveloping shawl that’s firmly in shawlanket territory—just as cozy to wear as it is to knit.
