No matter the reason you have only the use of one hand (or even if you have two good hands!), this One-Fun pattern and technique is for you!

— This is a loom knitting pattern for a wrap, complete with both charts and written instructions.
— It also contains reference information to knit the Wrap on needles.
— It is a technique, a tutorial and a gift.

Loom knitting one-handed is a skill and a craft that is without all the clumsy compromises involved in one-handed knitting with needles or crocheting.

One-Fun Wrap, a free pattern, is a gift to the Ravelry loom knitting community for all their help and encouragement, and to all those who want to craft but have limited use of their hands.

This 26-page PDF includes extensive suggestions, including numerous photographs of methods for knitting using only one hand. It is for those who have only one hand to use, who have difficulty after a stroke or similar, have a broken arm, are dealing with carpal tunnel or other RSI, or for those who simply want to stretch time by multitasking. (Of course, it’s great for two-handed knitters, too, on loom or needles.)

At least 90g of 10 ply Aran weight mohair is required. Any large gauge loom with at least 28 pegs is suitable (or size 13 needles, if making a needle knit version of the wrap). A 41-peg, large gauge Loops&Threads loom was used for this project.
