This super easy-knit shawl pattern is perfect for that special skein of hand-dyed yarn that you really want to show off. Any 4-ply yarn can be used, but it works particularly well with silk blend yarns.

Peak District Yarns’ One Skein Shawl pattern is more of a recipe than a pattern. You can play around and vary the number and position of the Garter stitch sections vs YO stitch sections you do. You just need to ensure you maintain the same ‘structure’ of the shawl. You can also combine skeins, or make it larger with two skeins.

You will need a 4mm 80cm circular needle for this pattern. Some people have knitted it using straights, but in my view you end up with too many stitches to fit easily on the needle.
