*Errata* Step 8 should say the total for each leg is 49, not 56.

My One Sock Two Socks Magic Recipe came about because I really wanted to knit an entire pair of socks out of one 50 gram ball of Knit Picks Felici yarn, using a contrasting color for cuffs, heels, and toes. This sock recipe allows you to use an entire ball of yarn, any size, and create a pair of socks. This recipe will show you how to turn a sock tube (one really long sock) into a complete pair (two finished socks) using afterthought techniques (cutting your yarn and picking up stitches).

I have included two different versions of the pattern, one with photos showing step by step directions, and one without photos in case you want to print the pattern without having so many pictures in it. You can always print one version and refer back to the pictures in the other version.

I hope you enjoy! I can’t wait to see all of the two at a time sock tubes turned pairs of socks.
