Onigiri, Sushi Cat
Hi Friends!
Meet Nori, a tiny cat shaped like an onigiri/sushi roll.
Her facial details are fully embroidered instead of using plastic safety eyes. This gives her a soft, simple look and makes the finished toy safe for babies and young children.
This pattern is suitable for beginners and includes clear photos to help you along the way. The instructions are written in English using US crochet terms so you can follow along step by step. You only need to know basic crochet stitches to make Nori.
I have used Scheepjes Catona yarn and a 2.0 mm crochet hook, Nori measures approximately 9.5 cm (3.7 inches). The finished size may vary depending on your yarn, hook size, and personal crochet tension.
You can also use finer or bulkier yarn to make a smaller or larger version.
I hope you enjoy making Nori as much as I enjoyed designing her. Feel free to reach out if you have any trouble with the instructions.
The pattern is for personal use only. Please do not copy, share, redistribute, or resell the pattern file.
You are welcome to sell finished toys made from this pattern in small quantities. If you do, please ensure you have purchased the pattern, that the toys are made by you, and that you credit Amiomocha as the designer.
Refund and Cancel order policy: Because these are digital files, I do not accept cancellations or refunds once the order is completed.
