Inspired by the Ents from Tolkien’s beloved Lord of the Rings series, these fingerless mitts embody the very spirit of Treebeard, the eldest of the Ents. Referred to as “the oldest living thing that still walks beneath the Sun upon this Middle-Earth,” Treebeard is wise even beyond his many years. His wisdom stems beyond the leaves on his branches into the air and the friendships he forms are rooted deep into his being. These mitts feature a vine and leaf pattern that represents Treebeard and the other Ents. The name, Onodrim, comes from the Elvish word for Ents. And it was, after all, the Elves who taught the Ents to speak, sparking an appreciation among the creatures of Middle-Earth.
