Open Line Socks
A classic and cozy sock featuring wide stripes. A delicate openwork pattern creates a graphic interplay between the
solid-colored sections, lending the design a sense of lightness. The heel is worked as a heelflap with reinforcement.
The sock features a timeless Scandinavian design in which color, texture, and graphic details come together to form
a simple, cohesive whole.
SIZES
1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6)
The size should be determined by the width of the leg rather than the shoe size, as the sock is worked to the length that fits the foot, while the number of cast-on stitches determines the width of the sock and leg.
Leg circumference (laid flat/stretched) approx.:
13/20 (15/23) 17/26 (19/29) (21/32) (23/36) cm
As a general guide, the following EU shoe sizes will often fit:
33-35 (35-36) 37-38 (38-39) 39-40 (40-42)
Materials
Sock yarn, e.g., Merida from Lamana, Arwetta from Filcolana, Fabel from Drops, or Jawoll from Lang Yarns:
50-75 (75) 75 (75-100) 100 (100) grams in total
Two colors are used, with color 1 for the ribbing, heel, and toe.
