Sometimes you need a little something to tame your locks and can’t decide between a hat, a scarf or a headband…this is the knit version of your traditional bandana/head scarf that is often folded into a triangle! I love that it’s small and I can tuck it in any bag to take with me for an emergency hair cover, sun protection and awesome if you have a convertible to bop around in.

This project is a great opportunity to start learning how to knit top down, triangular shawls as most begin with a garter tab cast on and similar increase methods. There are 2 size options written in the pattern.

As I was finishing the regular size my pooch was hanging around and he’s a great model, he will happily wear knit items for treats…so if you really want to go bougie, this knit makes a great doggy bandana too!
