Pattern notes
These long gauntlets are worked from bottom to top. After a 2x2 rib cuff, the gauntlet body is worked, following a charted cable pattern for the back of the hand with 2x2 rib continuing over the palm. A thumb gusset is inserted and shaped and, after the top of the gauntlet is finished in 2x2 rib, the thumb stitches are picked up and completed.
