Ophelia Book Cover Sleeve

Ophelia was born from my two greatest passions - reading and crochet. I have always been drawn to the overlay mosaic technique for its geometry and its stunning results, and this cover is one of my favourite things I have ever designed.

This pattern includes a detailed introduction to the overlay mosaic technique, a chart and row-by-row written instructions for both sizes, step-by-step photo instructions for every stitch used, and detailed guidance with photos for the borders and finishing.

Available in both US and UK crochet terms.

Size:

• Standard Size: designed for books measuring 5” x 8” x 1¼“ (13 x 20 x 3 cm)
• Large Size: designed for books measuring 6” x 9” x 1¼“ (15.2 x 22.8 x 3 cm)

Both sizes fit most books with a page count between approximately 250 and 400 pages. Tips included to adjust the size to fit any book.

Gauge (hook 4.5 mm / US 7):
A: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) = 20 sts x 24 rows
