Ophelia is a wrap top with long sleeves. It is knit in stockinette with an eyelet pattern and picot edges adorning the front.

The short version is perfect worn over a dress or for special occasions, while the longer version works just as well for everyday wear. The top can easily be dressed up or down by replacing the I-cord tie at the waist with a silk ribbon.

The top is worked top-down with raglan increases and V-neck shaping. When the piece reaches underarm length, it is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately. Finally, stitches are picked up for picot edging along the front edges and at the cuffs.

The pattern includes instructions for two versions: a short, fitted version (shown in beige) and a slightly longer, more relaxed version (shown in pink). Explanations of the techniques used can be found on the last page of the pattern.

Gauge: 20 sts = 10 cm / 4″ in stockinette stitch.
