Opposing Views Shawl
This shawl is knit from one point to the center back. Then stitches are picked up along the center back as you work your way up the back creating the right side. This enables the knitter to make the shawl as long (from neck to center back) as he or she would like. One side is longer than the other so that the shorter left side is draped over the shoulder, then around the back with the point centered on the back. The right side can then drape across the right shoulder, across the bust/neckline and either be tossed over the left shoulder or pinned with a lovely shawl pin as shown in the photos.
