This earwarmer is designed in the round and knit on US 6 4 mm needles, meant to have a gauge of 24 stitches by 28 rows using a worsted/aran weight yarn. My samples have been knit in Drops Nepal and Cascade 220 and are designed to have 8 inches of negative ease. This is a great project for stash busting as it uses less than 50 grams of yarn!

There is a chart available at the end of the pattern to help visualize what is happening. In addition to the chart there are video tutorials for the cast on, invisible join the round, and stretchy bind off.

Recommended yarn:
Drops Nepal
Cascade 220
(any worsted/aran weight yarn that will help you meet gauge)

Yardage:
Less than 50 grams (an estimate of between 28-47 grams, depending on size and if no modifications are made)

Sizing:
There are three sizes for this pattern:
size 1 = 20 in/ 51 cm head circumference
size 2 = 22 in / 56 cm head circumference
size 3 = 24 in / 61 cm head circumference
Choose the size that is closer to your measured head circumference. If you are in between sizes choose the fit you want, for a looser fit size up and for a tighter fit size down

Materials:
16 inch US 6 [4 mm needles] (or whatever size will help you meet gauge)
2 different stitch markers (one for BOR and one for MOR)
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:
24 stitches by 28 rows = 4 in x 4 in 10 cm x 10 cm in 2x2 rib on US 6 [4mm needles] (blocked)
