This is the second installment of my optical illusion series. This cowl is a generous 7” wide and 33” in circumference. The illusion of the blocks of black moving slightly in each set makes the lines, which are actually straight, look like they are slanted. So cool!

This is great for girls/women, but also perfect for the males in your life. It’s made of Cascade Yarns “220 Superwash Sport”. It’s soft and more of a dk than a sport weight. (We sold it as dk weight in my shop). The yarn is soft, resilient, and comes in a huge array of colors. It’s a pleasure to work with. This is knitted in a tube, making the colorwork quite easy.

This cowl was fun to work up and amazing after it’s lightly blocked and you really see the illusion!
