Started from the brim by creating a strip in garter stitch worked flat back and forth, then joined live stitches to the cast-on edge to form a circular band, then picked up stitches along one side on the wrong side of the circular band and knitted up the crown in the round with “Helical Knitting” technique.

If you are a knitting who don’t like ‘Purling’ this pattern is 0 purl, all are done in Knit stitches.
