Orage is inspired by a thunderstorm at the end of a warm summer day when natures goes quiet, waiting for the sky to light up in beautiful burnt orange colours.
The shawl has a crescent shape worked in garter stitch with yarn over increases. Then a large border is worked straight with alternating lace pannels forming zigzags over a purl background, and backloop ribbing.
With its large wingspan, it will lay perfectly on your shoulders or you can wrap yourself in it for the chilly evenings and show off its pretty lace details.
