ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Orange Trousers are worked from the top down using circular needles. Begin with a provisional cast-on, followed by shaping the folded waistband. Proceed to knit the body in filet net stitch in the round until the separation of the legs. Knit each leg separately in filet net stitch.

GAUGE
26 stitches x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 3 mm. Measuring the net stitch can be particularly tricky. Create a stockinette stitch sample to pinpoint the perfect yarn and needle size for knitting your Orange Trousers.

Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
