Orange You Glad (an ode to those corny knock-knock jokes of my youth) is a top down, long-sleeved pullover with gentle waist shaping that leads to a slight A-line silhouette. Fair isle patterning adorns the yoke and sleeves. Contrasting color is used in the neck cast on and sleeve and body bind offs. Instructions for the fair isle patterns are both written and charted. Additional charts with no colors are included at the end of the pattern so that if you wish, you may color in the charts to match the yarn you’ve chosen. German short rows are used to shape the neckline after the fair isle yoke pattern is completed.

This sweater is designed to be worn with 0” to 4” of positive ease. The measurements given are the finished measurements. Gentle waist shaping gives way to a slight A-line look at the hips resulting in an approximate 1½” larger hip circumference than the bust circumference. Additional options for body shaping are provided in the pattern.
