ORBELLA
Through the colors of the ovals, Orbella transforms a regular glass lamp into a joyful exciting sphere that works both as a lamp and as a decoration in itself.

SIZE
Fits an Ikea Fado lamp, 25 cm in diameter.

YARN
Chunky mohair, 200m/100g.
Sample uses Fat Mohair from Handdyed.dk

Base color (ivory white), 50g
Contrast color, 9 different colors, approx 50g total, each oval uses just under 2 m. The colors are placed at random.

Similar yarn bases are easy to find from your local dyer - look for chunky mohair, or use 3-4 threads of a mohair lace yarn.

GAUGE
One oval measures about 7 x 4 cm in garter stitch, measured without blocking.
