A pretty and useful tote with thick, plaited i-cord handles, strong enough to carry home your shopping.

The classic Oriel Lace Pattern is elegant and suitable for solid colour as well as variegated yarns.

Aran or worsted weight cotton yarn in solid colours or cheerfully variegated are all suitable.

The tote uses approx. 500yds or 450m of yarn. The directions are for one size only and are given in form of charts and fully written instructions.

The tote is worked from the bottom up, starting with the base. The body is worked in the round and the i-cord handles are sewn on the inside of the rim.

This is a good project for beginning lace knitters, including only basic left and right leaning decreases and yarn overs.
