Ornament Cardigan
The Ornament Cardigan is a Gansey-pattern cardigan featuring textured motifs created by alternating knit and purl stitches, without the need for complicated techniques. It uses the same stitch pattern as the much-loved Ornament Sweater.
The cardigan is worked from the top down, with a different shoulder construction from the Ornament Sweater.
Gansey patterns create a luxurious, dimensional texture characteristic of knitwear without requiring complicated techniques. Up close, the delicate texture stands out, while from a distance, the cardigan has a simple, clean, and timeless appearance, making it an ideal piece for everyday wear.
It can be worn on its own for a neat, minimal look or layered over various tops as a cardigan outer layer.
Although the Retroment Cardigan features the same stitch pattern, it differs in shoulder construction, needle size, and gauge.
The samples were made in Toffee Nut (Size 2) and Red (Size 3).
Size Selection
Choose a size with 20–30 cm (8–12 in) of positive ease, measured against your actual bust circumference.

오너먼트 가디건 (Ornament Cardigan)
오너먼트 가디건은 어려운 기법 없이 겉뜨기와 안뜨기만으로 무늬를 쌓아 올리는 건지무늬 가디건입니다. 많은 분들께 사랑받은 오너먼트 스웨터와 같은 무늬를 사용했어요.
탑다운 방식으로 진행되며, 어깨라인을 만드는 방식은 오너먼트 스웨터와 다르게 전개됩니다.
건지무늬는 복잡한 기법 없이도 니트 특유의 고급스럽고 입체적인 질감을 만들어 냅니다. 가까이서 보면 섬세한 텍스처가 돋보이고, 멀리서 보면 담백하고 단정한 인상을 주어 데일리 아이템으로도 손색이 없습니다.
단독으로 깔끔하게 연출하거나 다양한 이너와 함께 아우터로 활용하기에도 좋아요.
같은 무늬를 사용한 레트로먼트 가디건과는 어깨라인을 만드는 방식, 사용 바늘 크기, 게이지가 다릅니다.
