The sweater is worked top down in four separate pieces: a back piece, a front piece, and two sleeves. The back and front pieces are worked flat with increases along both sides. The sleeves are also worked flat and shaped with German Short Rows to raise the back of the neck.
The pieces are sewn together along the raglan seams. The body is then worked in the round in stockinette stitch, while the sleeves are completed by picking up stitches at the underarms and knitting in the round.
The body, sleeves, and neckline are finished with a folded hem, which is sewn down on the WS.

Sizes
Orsonero sweater should have a positive ease of 10-15 cm compared to the recipient’s chest measurement.
Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) correspond to a chest circumference of 65-70 (75-80) 85-90 (95-100) 105-110 (115-120) cm.
The finished garment has a chest circumference of 80 (90) 100 (110) 120 (130) cm after washing and blocking.

5 mm circular needles in 40cm and 60 or 80cm lengths.

Gauge
18 stitches x 22 rows in stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.
