Oryx is a simple adult sock knit from the top down in complementary twisted and plain ribbing. It is quick and easy to knit, and delightful to wear. Knit in a luxury blend yarn, it will be luxurious and comfortable in winter; in a wool or cellulose sock yarn, it will be perfect for year-round wear.

The ribbing stitches are given in simple written instructions. The 8-round main pattern stitch is written out and charted.

As Tracks yarn is only 400 yards per hank, you may wish to use a second skein or a complementary yarn for your toes and/or heels if you are knitting for larger than an adult women’s size 7.5 (European size 38). Otherwise you may run short of yarn at the toe.
