These cozy socks take their name from the Oseberg Ship, a well-preserved viking ship discovered in a burial mound in Norway. The ship is considered to be one of the best artifacts to have survived from the viking era. The rib pattern worked over the top of these socks is reminiscent of the Oseberg ship’s distinctively ribbed prow.

One size, to fit about a women’s 8, but the rib is quite stretchy and length can be adjusted by working extra repeats.
