This fresh looking bag is inspired by the coast-line of Norway. The angular landscape, craggy coastline and crashing waves come together with energy at the bottom of the bag and the calmness of evening at the top. This bag closes with a hex frame that keeps your belongings snug inside. Fill with your knitting project or add an i-cord handle for easy carrying while sight-seeing.

Skill level: Intermediate. Skills needed include single crochet. Optional skill: knitting backward, I-cord strap

Size: 11” (28 cm) wide (measured at the widest part of the lower bag) by 7.5” (19 cm) tall.

Gauge: One knit entrelac square measures 1” row-wise and 7/8” stitch-wise. 6 single crochet = 1” (2.5 cm).

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn in 3 colors.

Sample was worked in a per Tryving/Rauma Pandora 100% mercerized cotton.

Needles and notions:
US size 1 (2.25 mm) 24” (61 cm) circular and double point needles, Size D (3.25 mm) crochet hook, tapestry needle, safety pin type stitch markers, two yards smooth cotton in contrasting color for provisional cast on, hand sewing needle. For finishing bag: 8” (20.3cm) hex frame and two pieces of coordinating fabric measuring 8 inches tall by 10 inches wide (20.3 cm x 25.4 cm) with matching sewing thread.
