Ostara is an easily customizable spring bag that has a variety of uses. Gauge is not very important since this is less of a pattern and more of a guide. I do include suggested instructions based on how I made my samples.
I recommend at least 200 yards for the DK version or 220 yards of worsted weight for a decent size bag. My striped bag used almost 2 whole balls of Lily’s Sugar n Cream and my small bag used about a ball and a half of Corsica.
