These socks were inspired by the river across the street from my new house. We moved here 6 months ago and that has been a journey! We love to walk around the river, crossing two different bridges, and seeing the ducks and various wildlife along the way. I have sat and watched the waves ripple by with my baby in arms as i sway to the rhythm of the river rocking her to sleep. This month she turns 1 year old! In honour of her 1st birthday, I have made these socks in baby size, child, and my usual adult sizes.

These socks can be knit with a full 6 inch leg, or a short ankle length, and is knit from the top down with an after though style heel for knitters who are not ready to do a cut in heel but like the after thought idea. This heel is fabulous for people who are “scared” of turning a heel. with pictures to guide you to make it so easy! The toe is a classic wedge toe.

The sizes range from baby, child, (adult small, medium, large) length of foot and leg and cuff is adjustable.
