This cute little otter was inspired by a recent trip to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, WA where my daughter and I love to sit and watch the otters swimming and playing in the water and on land. These cute little semiaquatic weasels eat mostly shellfish and fish and my little otter is holding a tasty fish dinner in his hands.
The finished otter is about as tall as my hand from wrist to fingertip, bottom to head, just the perfect size for a toddler to tote.
