Amigurumi Crochet Pattern for Crochet Otter

This is a popular pattern that is free on my blog at www.thefriendlyredfox.com. I am offering it here with additional photos, tips and tricks, and some add ons in a printable pdf version.

This crochet otter is about 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide. The head and limbs are crocheted and attached separately. His arms are not stuffed and are attached to the body to create that lovable, cuddly look.

I would consider this a beginner pattern with some learning curve. If you need help, I have plenty of amigurumi tutorials over at www.thefriendlyredfox.com!

The pattern is a PDF and you will need Adobe Reader to open it. This program is free to download. Feel free to contact me if you need any help!

You will need to know how to use a magic circle, single crochet and how to increase and invisible decrease. I include instructions for the invisible decrease.
You will also need to know how to use the half-double, double and triple crochet.

You will need:
Approx 120 g size 4 yarn in main color (I used I Love this Yarn in Brown)
Small amount of Ivory worsted weight
Crochet Hook in Size 3.75
Tapestry Needle
Polyfil
15mm safety eyes
stitch marker
