“Our Toques” are worsted (or DK) weight hats with moderate slouch, featuring chevron inspired colorwork motifs, created through the use of stranded colorwork in three colorways. The concept behind this design is to knit one hat for yourself and another for a friend or family member, using a single hat kit! The pattern designs are similar, yet different enough to alleviate that feeling of “I don’t want to knit the same pattern twice!”

Sizes 1 / (2)
child / (adult)

Finished circumference: 18 (21)” / 46 (53) cm, post blocking. Intended to fit with negative ease of 0.5 – 2” / 1–5 cm from actual head size.

Based on suggested yarn below and gauge for worsted weight. For a smaller child / (adult) size, use a light worsted or DK weight yarn and refer to the gauge for DK weight. This modification will result in finished circumferences: 16 (19)” / 40.5 (48) cm.
