Placemats And Coasters Crochet Pattern Set.

These are two fun crochet patterns, for making a pretty set of oval crochet placemats and coasters. You can crochet this set for your home or make it as a gift for someone special

The patterns work well with one colour or more and with or without decoration rounds, whichever you prefer.

Placemat size is about: Length 13.8 inches, width 13.2 inches (35 X 33.5 cm).
Coaster size is about: Length 5.5 inches, width 4 inches (14 X 10 cm).

The pattern includes four PDF files:
For the placemats:

1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial.
2. File without pictures for printing the pattern.

For the coasters:

1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial.
2. File without pictures for printing the pattern.

All are written in US English terms.
It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the patterns by following the photo tutorials first.
The printable versions are best used when you already know the patterns.

Skill level: Beginner.
A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches is required.

Materials:

1. Yarns: Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, 100 gr. and Paintbox Yarns Simply DK, 100 gr. (the exact amounts are detailed in the patterns). Of course, you can use different yarn brands with similar weights.
2. Size 4mm (Metric) G/6 (US) crochet hook.
3. Tapestry needle.
4. Scissors.
5. Stitch markers (optional).
