If you have 50 grams/200 yards that would look great with a full skein you have on hand, you’re ready to go! I love it when I can use those little half skeins that I enjoy buying or use up some of the leftovers from previous projects. Plus, I think this makes a really nice sized shawl. Not too big or too small. I used right at 400 yards for Color 1 (the body color), so you want to make sure you have a little more than that, and I used approximately 170 yards for Color 2 (the lace), so you should be just fine with a half skein.

This shawl does not necessarily need to be pin blocked. The blue one pictured was simply laid flat and shaped by hand. The edge has a slight wave to it. If you want the points seen on the dark pink sample, you will need to pin those in place when blocking.
