Somewhere between a tee and a tank, this top makes a great warm weather staple or a lovely layering piece for cooler weather. Suggested ease is 1½ - 4 inches (3.5 - 10 cm). #sizeinclusive

It is knit from the top down, beginning with a provisional cast on for each of the back shoulders. The front and back shoulder sections are worked flat, and the body is worked in the round. Short rows are used to complete the geometric features of this design. The body is worked inside out so there isn’t much purling!

Body length from the under arm is 30 cm (12 inches); if you wish to lengthen it you will require approximately 5% more yarn for each additional inch of length. The sleeve openings can be finished with a minimal trim as shown, or with a longer ribbed cuff.

The sample was knit with 2 strands of light weight yarn (ITO Kinu and ITO Sershin) in 2 different colours, giving it a marled effect. Alternatively, it can be knit with one strand of dk or sport weight yarn. A few suggestions are offered above.
