Overland
Overland is a warm hat, suitable for everything from a walk to everyday urban wear.
Knit in the round from the bottom up, this hat features simple cable pattern that create a stretchy fabric with dimension and impressive texture. So wherever you go, make sure you always look unique. The pattern is easy to follow and contains both - written and charted instructions.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
17¼“ (44 cm) circumference, blocked and unstretched.
To comfortably fit average head 21-22½“ (53-57 cm); 8½” (21.5 cm) length.
YARN
Approximately 130 yds/119 m of any worsted weight wool blend yarn.
NEEDLES
US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm) length for brim;
US 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm) length, and set of five double-pointed needles for shaping.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Note: 32″ (80 cm) circular needle can be used instead of 16″ (40 cm) circular and DPNs if using the Magic Loop method for working small circumferences in the round.
NOTIONS
Stitch marker(s); cable needle; scissors and tapestry needle.
GAUGE
18 sts and 20 rows = 4” (10 cm) over stocking stitch, worked in the round on larger needles and after blocking and
22 sts and 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) over Body Chart on larger needles, after blocking.
