Colours Used: 2 (But if you are skilled in the technique, feel free to use as many colours as you want)

Graph Size: 299 columns (stitches) x 399 rows

The finished size of this design depends not only on the graph size but also on the stitch of choice, hook size, yarn thickness, and other factors.
For this pattern, my tester Sylvie Serjournant used a ** 4.5 mm hook (US = 7, UK = 7), and the final measurements of the finished blanket are160 cm (63”) in width and 240 cm (95”) in height without a border**

How it fits based on bed size
• 80 cm or 90 cm wide bed:
There is 80 cm or 70 cm of excess width (a drop of about 35–40 cm on each side), which is perfect for covering the mattress and draping slightly without reaching the floor.
• 105 cm wide bed:
There is 55 cm of excess width in total (a drop of about 27 cm on each side). It will cover the mattress well but with a very modest drape.
• 135 cm or 150 cm wide bed:
It is too small. For a 135–150 cm bed, the blanket would barely cover the surface and would have practically no drape along the sides.
• Decorative throw or foot-of-bed runner:
You can also use it as a decorative throw at the foot of a larger bed (135, 150, or 160 cm), placing it horizontally or vertically across the centre or the bottom edge.

You will need about 13 skeins of Royal Zeeman yarn (DK) for the lighter colour (cream) and about 15 Skeins of Royal Zeeman yarn (DK) for the darker colour (beige).
This amounts to 3133 meters / 3432 yards for the lighter colour and 3615 meters / 3960 yards for the darker colour.
