This is a digital pattern (available in PDF format only) that can be used to crochet a blanket using Overlay Mosaic Crochet

Two versions are included in this pattern:
• Overlay mosaic crochet with cutting yarn each row (traditional version)
• Overlay mosaic crochet turning rows without cutting yarn

You can find:

• Instructions and information on measurements, quantity and brand of yarn used, and links to video tutorials on the overlay mosaic crochet technique.
• The Big Chart and the written row-by-row instructions (traditional mosaic style) are included in the same 42-page PDF file.
• The written pattern (rows worked back and forth without cutting the yarn) is provided row by row on 25 pages.

• The Big Chart with the Xs marked, on 56 pages, for print.

Colours Used: 2 (But if you are skilled in the technique, feel free to use as many colours as you want)

Graph Size: 285 columns (stitches) x 371 rows

The finished size depends not only on the graph size but also on your stitch choice, hook size, yarn thickness, and other factors.
For this pattern, my tester Anne Fouinat used a 3mm hook (US = D/3, UK = 10) and the final measurements of the finished blanket are 140 cm (55”) in width and 200 cm (79”) in height without a border.

A blanket measuring 140 cm wide by 200 cm long is ideal primarily for single beds (90 cm or 105 cm wide).

You will need about 15 skeins of Plassard Gagnante (Sport) for the lighter colour (white) and about 16 Skeins of Plassard Gagnante (Sport) for the darker colour (dark blue). This amounts to 2550 meters / 2789 yards for the lighter colour and 2720 meters / 2975 yards for the darker colour.
