This is a digital pattern (available in PDF format only) that can be used to crochet a blanket using Overlay Mosaic Crochet
Two versions are included in this pattern:
• Overlay mosaic crochet with cutting yarn each row (traditional version)
• Overlay mosaic crochet turning rows without cutting yarn
You can find:

Colours Used: 2 (But if you are skilled in the technique, feel free to use as many colours as you want)

Graph Size: 299 columns (stitches) x 399 rows

The finished size depends not only on the graph size but also on your stitch choice, hook size, yarn thickness, and other factors.
For this pattern, my tester Angel Beebe McFadden used a 3.5 mm (US = E/4, UK = 9), and the measurements with this hook and the yarn used (Baby Bee Sweet Delight from Hobby Lobby) were 140 cm (55”) in width and 188 cm (74”) in height without a border.
These blanket dimensions are suitable for a standard single bed (90x190 cm).
• Fit: Snug/Fitted (for functional use or as a lightweight, transitional season layer).
• Coverage:
Width: At 140 cm wide, it covers the 90 cm mattress with a 25 cm drop on each side. It will cover the mattress, though it may appear a bit short if the mattress is very thick or if the bed has a base/storage frame.
Length: At 188 cm long, it is almost the same length as the mattress (190 cm).
It will not allow the classic fold-over at the pillow area, but this is a common size for single blankets meant to be placed from the shoulders to the foot of the bed.

You will need about 9 Skeins, 3105 meters / 3393 yards for the lighter colour (Angel) and about 8 Skeins, 2760 meters / 3016 yards for the darker colour (Teddy).
