About
The Owengowla Hat is named after the river that flows near my Grandmother’s homestead in County Galway, Ireland. This bubbling waterway is a vital resource to the small village, regardless of the time of year, and you can often see different colored stones peeking through the rushing water. Depending on the time of day and the way the light plays on the water, they appear to be different shades, which gave me the inspiration to play with all of the different options in this versatile hat.

This worsted weight hat is suitable for a confident beginner but interesting enough for a more advanced one. It’s a quick stash-busting project available in three sizes, with charts for 2-5 contrasting colors.

Much thought was put into making this cowl a relaxing experience for you. Colorwork charts are offered in both light on dark and dark on light so that you don’t have to try and switch them in your head.

This worsted weight hat is a fast knit, that you will not be able to put down. And will have you stash diving for a second and third hat!
