This pattern is inspired by the Eurasian Eagle Owl, using a combination of multiple colors to clearly distinguish each part of the body. The lace-weight mohair adds a soft, fluffy texture while also helping to express the owl’s natural rough markings through subtle shifts in value and hue.
If you would like to achieve a similar look, please refer to the yarn thicknesses and color selections listed in the materials.

The original design concept was a snowy owl, so you can also create a beautiful version using all-white yarn without any color changes.
